Gina Sisbarro, Owner and Founder of Sisbarro Acting Studio, is pleased to announce “Lucky Hudson and the 12th Street Gang” a play performed by Marco Island Charter Middle School students on April 28th and 29th.
The middle school club is in its sixth year and has a combination of veteran and rookie actors including several that perform in the annual adult main-stage production.
Lucky Hudson is an exuberant, funny two-act play spoofing old-time gangster movies. Crime novelist Steve Jenkins is informed by a crime magazine editor that his stories need more grittiness. Lucky Hudson enters Steve’s universe, Steve’s own hero in his crime busting novels, to introduce him to the underworld. Travel with Steve and Lucky as they take on the notorious 12th Street Gang as well as the Cribbs gang through nightclubs, hideouts, prison and even Steve’s own bedroom. The cost is free to the community, however, we do accept donations at the door before or after the show. Introduce your children or grandchildren to the wonderful world of theater where dreams and imagination are allowed Friday, April 28th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, April 29th at 3:00 PM at Marco Island Charter Middle School.
